I noticed in a Walmart store that there is a Pringles Potato Chips display and the cost is "only" a dollar a canister. What a deal - NOT! The canister looks the same as the Original 6-ounce package, but this has only 4.4 ounces! You're actually not getting a deal on this one on a per-ounce basis - BUT I believe that Kelloggs is looking to rip people off who do not take the time to notice the difference (shame on you if you don't check, but also shame on them).

The difference is not transparent. I don't expect them to say "Look, smaller size!" but I DO expect them to clearly show the net weight part of the package and not obscure it (which may be done on purpose) in the high-lipped cardboard display, so that the only part of the canister you see is the part that looks like the regular-size 6-ounce package!

The consumer - your consumer, Kelloggs (located in downtrodden Michigan, no less!) is struggling financially, but is all you care about your profits via deception? I don't do business with companies who try to pull those tricks ("let's see if they notice?" - duh, yeah!!).

Beware of tricks like this from Kelloggs and other companies - CHECK THE NET WEIGHT!!! COMPANIES ARE TAKING THE PRICE UP AND THEN LOWERING THE CONTENTS AMOUNT YOU RECEIVE IN MOST PRODUCT AREAS!!!

Check Kelloggs cereals and other products - they are doing the same thing but to a smaller extent (until the small reductions add up to a big one as you soon may notice - although I believe they hope you don't).

It's a shame that such a (formerly,in my opinion) reputable company such as Kelloggs resorted to this awful tactic. It's about the customer, dummy!

Take care of the customer, and the customer will take care of you. And if you don't...then the reverse is true. Maybe their profits stink so thy're resorting to these underhanded (and overlipping) tactics. That's NOT the way to do business!

I hope Kelloggs "wakes up" and realizes that the real value is in treating the customer right. Or maybe this tiger doesn't change its stripes?

People are complaining because the Pringles can has gotten smaller and they feel they are being scammed but what most people don't know is they were scammed years ago. A few years back the can used to be smaller and had 7oz of product but then they made the can taller and called it the super stack and at that time Walmart sold the smaller can with 7 oz of chips for $1 but when the so called super stack came out the price jumped to $1.50 and people were snatching them off the shelves because it appeared they were getting more but what most people did not know was the chip was now smaller in diameter and the content had dropped to under 6oz but now they are at it again making the chip/crisp thinner and they have no choice but to lower the hight of the can and if you were around in the 70's when the thicker and wider Pringles chip/crisp came out then you will notice they don't taste near as good as they did then and they are now a part of the Kellogg's company.

The cereal companies are keeping the FRONT side of cereal boxes the same, but making them much smaller on the width/sides of the box. Looks like you are getting same box of cereal until you turn it sideways.
